Self-guided, inn-to-inn walking tours have become our preferred way to travel. After completing two such trips in Europe, we began searching for a similar experience in the U.S. and were delighted to find Wine Country Trekking. Our "San Francisco to Wine Country" tour in May exceeded our expectations. The accommodations and other arrangements were all top-notch. The directions and recommendations were spot-on. Every detail Mary and Greg put into our trek resulted in an amazing experience for us. |

I can't say enough great things about this trek. This was our 3rd time doing the SF to Wine Country Trek, and we added extra down days between hikes to allow more time to luxuriate in the fabulous accommodations. Wine, food, lodging - all thoughtfully curated and amazing. |

My husband & I returned to Australia yesterday after completing our Wine Country Trek. We absolutely loved it! Our "bible" (book of directions) was so meticulous & fun to follow. The accommodations were fabulous - from the simplicity of Walt's Cottage on the shores of Tomales Bay to the gracious opulence of Gaige House Inn. Each day of the trek was an adventure & a challenge. The sights we have seen & the memories we have. Such a wonderful experience |

Thank you so much for what was a truly excellent holiday! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute, including all of the hikes (following the guide and maps was great fun), kayaking, accommodation (Gaige House was a perfect place to conclude the trek), restaurants (including Saltwater Oyster Depot, Sir & Star, and Glen Ellen Star), the wines (Hamel & Ahh were standouts), and even the transfers were top notch. It was a fantastic way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and we’d highly recommend the holiday to others. |
